In the previous book we get introduced to many different characters, both good and bad, and some threads remained loose after the events that transpired there. Before I get into anything else, I just have to comment on Mortal Danger’s cover because I’m really not a fan of it – all blue background with a fuzzy picture of a scowling guy. In this story, Dahger was able to buy in to the honesty of his feelings because of his selfless actions and willingness to make Lily angry if it meant that he could keep her safe.

And the way Lily ended up after what happens in hell… just did nothing for me. Well, that doesn’t seem so bad I want more Grandmother. More on these things later. Flame in the Dark.

Always a fan of a good dragon intro into a series. There are 14 books in this series right now. Felt a little teary as the journey unfolded.

About halfway through the book, an interesting separation occurs, with some of the characters in another realm. You won’t be disappointed.

I was partially correct because the second book had more action than the first one. Check it out if you get the chance, http: View all 15 comments. It completely undercuts the dramatic tension to storytell that way.

It’s a well drawn and complex world, and I like seeing it unfold a little at a time. To ask other readers questions about Mortal Dangerplease sign up.
